The Action Agent Softshell fills a niche in the tactical jacket realm because it’s a non-insulated urban-friendly outer layer designed for warmer weather.
It has velcro morale patch panels on the upper sleeves, but Hazard 4 includes zippered pockets that can be attached to cover them for a less tactical look.
The jacket also has discrete side zippers for belt access/concealed carry.
I was actually very interested in this jacket when Hazard 4 announced it. I’ve since acquired three Triple Aught Design jackets (an Explorer, Stealth, and Stealth LT) and Vertx’s Integrity Waterproof Shell. So I’m probably good on the jacket front, but if you’re still in the market, the Action Agent is worth checking out. Especially at the sale price, which runs today only (12/13).
